Saturday, June 4th will be a very special day for Sarah and Jackie.  That’s the day their new homes are dedicated.  Both have worked hard helping to rehab their homes and now it’s time to celebrate.  The event starts at 10AM at the Village Hall in Park Forest (350 Victory Drive).  After a very poignant ceremony everyone is invited to visit the two homes for a tour, cake and beverages.  

This event is open to anyone interested in seeing how our program works.  We are especially grateful to the all of the wonderful volunteers who helped rehab the homes.  Some came once and many came often but each and every person helped make this day possible.  We also want to recognize our business sponsors — Home Depot, C.J. Erickson Plumbing, Climate Control Heating & Air Conditioning and Valspar Paint. 

These homes and others in Park Forest and Lansing were funded by a HUD grant administered by the Cook County Bureau of Community Development.
